The semi-nomadic life
Monkey and I moved into my parents house before Lent began. I know this because our first week there, he and I burned the palms from last Palm Sunday, and I put them on my forehead. He was very intrigued/disturbed by this, which I thought was funny. I think this might be a very fun tradition. Anyway, we are still here and Easter is just about over. I know this because Pentecost is next weekend. That's just the way it works.
So two liturgical seasons 14 weeks later, and we are still without a kitchen, and thereby, without a real home. The travel back and forth for preschool, catechism, and family dinners is starting to grate, Erik is experiencing reno fatigue, and little monkey is definitely home sick. Not to mention there's no real internet service out here, hence the lack of posting. When I actually have time during my 2.5 hours of "free" time in Guelph a week, I'll post some catch up photos.
In the meantime, I'm hoping that we'll be home with a temporary makeshift kitchen in about a month or so...
Here's hoping.
