It's been so long!

I was supposed to have my 16 person family over for Easter, and of course I got so so sick the week before.  I was almost going to cancel, but my parent's house is under renovation so that wasn't really an option.  It was super fun and super worth it, but I was just so tired...  I actually only got better last week sometime and guess what?  Now I have a cold!  I can tell it's a different virus and not a relapse, but I'm just sick and tired of being... sick and tired.

But look!  I did things!

This is a very tiny shawl (and apparently a very blurry picture.  I didn't notice until now)  It is meant to be a kerchief style head covering.  I learned that this size is about as big as I'd like to go on the whole shawl thing.  I was already like "OK, is it over yet?" and it's less than two feet wide.  I don't think I could handle a full sized one.  

And here is an update on the blanket.  

I'm about 6 hours away from finishing the first quarter.  But I should sew in the ends before moving on the the next one.  I think I can actually force myself to do this if I just leave the next ball of yarn I'll need buried in my craft room.  Hopefully the lazy part of me that doesn't want to go up for a ball of yarn will win out over the lazy side that doesn't want to weave in any ends.
