We're home!!!
Last post I had hoped we'd be home in a month or so, but again, maybe by Canada day turned into maybe by our trip down east? Ok, no, maybe before school starts again? Thanksgiving?
But here we are finally, and you know what? We made it BEFORE Monkey's birthday! So at least we hit one (very important)milestone deadline.
I have been trying to re-organize, de-clutter and dust (Oh My Goodness, the DUST. We're talking 7+ months of neglect, plus plaster demolition and drywall dust here) and it is taking quite sometime to achieve the "presentable" house I need to have by birthday weekend. Birthday weekend is in 3 days. I'm in a bit of a time crunch here. But at least the house is livable, and that's good enough for us right now!
We don't actually have our new cabinets yet, they won't be ready until Christmas, but we have our old ones and our new appliances which suits me just fine. An ugly yet functional kitchen is better than no kitchen at all, and now that school has started, Monkey and I have to be in town for 5 different classes on 4 different days. We need to be living here, not 45 minutes away.
I have been photo documenting all spring/summer so I can update my ravelry projects and, of course, the blog. so hopefully I will be able to add a few pictures soon, but not too many, I don't want to bore anyone ;)
